History & Politics Book Club
Readings are currently focusing on United States Presidents. Rather than selecting a single book to be read by everyone, the group decides on a topic; then each participant selects his/her own book on the topic.  At meetings focusing on U. S. Presidents, each member shares views on both the President and the man, as presented in his/her book.  We think this makes the readings and discussion more interesting and challenging.  Join us!  4th Wednesday of the month, from 4-5:30 pm at the Encino-Tarzana Library. Topics: All of our U.S. Presidents, in chronological order.  June 24: Presidents William Henry Harrison & John Tyler July 22, 2009: President James Knox Polk. August 26: President Zachary Taylor 18231 Ventura Blvd. Tarzana (818) 343-1983 www.etlibraryfriends.org
