Steakhouse aficionados unite.  Morton’s The Steakhouse recently released its second cookbook, Morton’s The Cookbook: 100 Steakhouse Recipes for Every Kitchen. To celebrate, Morton’s co-founder and the book’s co-author, Klaus Fritsch, is hosting a book signing/food and cocktail event in Beverly Hills and Burbank, respectively, on July 27 and 28.

You don’t have to be a carnivore to enjoy the steakhouse experience. It’s not just about the perfect steak (although the book does give great advice on how to make one!), but is a culinary experience that showcases global flavors, from cocktails to seafood, starters to desserts.

“In Morton’s The Cookbook, we share many of the recipes and secrets that make dinner at Morton’s so special [including celebrity favorites]. Our guests love to dine with us because not only do they know to expect great services and a warm, friendly atmosphere, but the food will be perfectly cooked with flavors that burst with freshness and, yes, familiarity. This is why our recipes translate so well to the home kitchen. Nothing is too exotic or out of the ordinary and yet everything is downright delicious and always approachable,” says Fritsch, who will be on hand at both locations to sign books.

Each event is $59 per person (that includes a copy of the cookbook which retails at $32.50) and select appetizers and cocktails from the cookbook.

Additionally, proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Feeding America, an organization that is focused on hunger and works with various food banks and other hunger organizations throughout the country.

Items included in the silent auction are:
