Start the new year off with a resolution to help shelter animals in need. Food and blankets are always needed or be a volunteer at a local animal shelter. Try fostering a dog, cat or rabbit. There are numerous ways to help the animals but not enough people offering help. Make this year a time to give back.

Francis

Impound #1083410 Papillon mix, 14 weeks, 6 lbs. I’m Francis and was dumped at the shelter by my guardians because I was sick and they didn’t want to care for me. I’m all better now and the staff says I’m the prettiest girl in the neighborhood. I love people and dogs and will make a great companion. I’m too small to be in the kennels so please ask for me at the shelter. I’m ready for a home!!

Rex

Impound #1079850 German Shepherd, 1 year, 65 lbs. I’m Rex and was found on the street. I must have been there for awhile because I’m a little skinny. The shelter took me in and called my guardians but they never came to get me. I’m super sweet, know basic commands, walk great on a leash and am very eager to please. Oh, and I love people and other dogs too. I’ll make an outstanding forever friend. Please adopt me! I’m a shelter staff favorite.

I like to play hide-and-seek with my shelter-mate…we take turns hiding under our blanket. We love each other. I’m very handsome too and would make an amazing companion. Won’t you adopt me?

I don’t let that get me down. I am very loving to all the dogs and people I meet. I’m very active, affectionate and love to be held. Won’t you come get me? I’m ready for some love!

Missy
