TOMATOMANIA AT TAPIA BROS.

Tomatomania, the world’s largest seedling sale,  is on tour and the flagship stop is at Tapia Brothers Farm Stand in Encino this weekend, March 26-28. ICE SKATING AT THE SHERMAN OAKS GALLERIA

It’s Spring skating in the San Fernando Valley!  Instead of real ice, the Galleria is using synthetic ice for the eco-friendlly way. Admission is $4 for everyone* including skate rentals for those without skates. Saturday, March 27   12noon – 9pm Sunday, March 28     12noon – 6pm *Only children 5 years or over on the rink and anyone under 18 years will have to have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver. The Sherman Oaks Galleria is located at Sepulveda and Ventura Blvds.

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL AT HENRY’S MARKETS

Combine grocery shopping with a Strawberry Festival at Henry’s Farmers Markets in Burbank and Woodland Hills. It’s all happening from  10am-1pm and 4pm-6pm, March 27 through 31.  The strawberries come straight from local farms in Irvine. Sample an array of delicious strawberry dishes, including fresh strawberries, strawberry pies, preserves, cake, soda, crepes, ice cream and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Kid fun includes: Chocolate-dipped strawberry activities, strawberry decorating contests and free balloons. There will be $100 Henry’s gift card raffles and a live “strawberry jam” musical performance from 11am-1pm on March 27 only.
