Massive art collection to be auctioned to benefit Valley Rescue Mission

San Fernando Valley resident Bruce Stern, an inventor and entrepreneur, is offering his 1,110 art piece collection to The Valley Rescue Mission for a massive fundraising sale on Saturday, April 17 from 2:30-6:30pm. According to the Mission’s executive director, Ken Craft, Stern said he has been collecting art for 30 years and now wants to “do some good by giving it away to a worthy organization.”

Each piece is hand signed by the original artists and are accompanied by original purchase receipts. All prints are numbered and limited editions. Each piece of art is framed with glass, matted and ready to be displayed.  Prices are $20 to $4000.

“I had never seen such an eclectic collection of original oil paintings, watercolors, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings and more,” said Craft. “The art collection is amazing!”

All 1,100 art pieces will be sold at a fraction of their original purchase price. All net proceeds will be used to build a New Emergency Shelter for Homeless Families in the Valley.
