This week: Say goodbye to an old friend, enjoy incredibly well priced Sunday Suppers and a stimulus inspired wine dinner, go burrito mad—and speaking of mad (take it any way you want), check out Charlie Sheen’s winner hot dog.

Charlie Sheen’s twitters  packed in business at The Infield in Sherman Oaks when he tweeted “Get’m while they’re hot..!” accompanied by a photo of the Charlie Dog daily deal on the chalkboard.  Sheen created the Charlie Dog — a Chicago-style hot dog with mustard, green relish, onions, tomatoes,  peppers, celery salt and a kosher pickle— all topped by Sriracha hot chili sauce which Sheen calls his “tiger’s blood.”  The dog is $5.  Not interested in a Charlie Dog? How about a Fried Twinkie Dog? Check out the small baseball inspired stand at Ventura and Beverly Glen on Sundays and Tuesdays for $2.50 hot dogs (up from the previous $2 special) on most hot dogs all day (the Charlie Dog will be $4). Or Mondays for $1 Dodger Dogs.  The Infield is owned by actor Robert Davitian (best known as the producer in Borat). 14333 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks (818) 501-1850

Hugo’s Tacos in Studio City and Atwater Village continues Burrito Madness with half price burritos (limit 5) Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. through the end of March. Say “Burfort” before you order to get the deal. 4749 Coldwater Canyon Studio (at Riverside), Studio City (818) 762-7771

Wine Bistro in the reign of the energetic and affable J.B. Torchon is ending next week, but he will stay on for three months as a consultant as the transition occurs with the new  owners.  Details are forthcoming about the new restaurant, so stay tuned. In the meantime, if you want to see J.B. come by and say hello this week and next.  11915 Ventura Boulevard Studio City, (818) 766-6233

Georgio’s Cucina in Studio City is now serving a three course prix fixe Sunday Supper for $15 per person. The menu changes weekly. This Sunday, the menu is Organic Farmers Market Zucchini Soup, Organic Beef or Vegetable Lasagna and Creamy Coffee Ice Cream with Amaretto Cookies. Get  Moretti beers for $3 or  a bottle of “Hey Mambo” California Red for $14. The regular menu is also available. Kids can choose from pasta and pizza. In case you missed it, Georgio’s is now in  its second phase of the pop up concept with new chef Jeffrey Nimer. Call for reservations or check out the website. 11992 Ventura Blvd Studio City (818) 985-1072

Mistral Restaurant’s Sunday Supper is $34 per person for a prix fixe menu with choices. First course choices: Pear and arugula salad with walnuts and parmesan shavings, Frisée salad with soft poached egg and bacon, or butternut squash soup. Second Course choices: Pan Fried Lake Superior Whitefish with lemon beurre blanc, asparagus, broccoli and carrots; Shrimp and Lobster Ravioli with a light saffron cream sauce; Prime hanger steak with shallots and parsley butter, accompanied by lyonnaise potatoes and sautéed greens.  Third course choices: Chocolate soufflé or meyer lemon tarte. 13422 Ventura Boulevard Sherman Oaks (818) 981-6650

Il-Tiramisu’s four course wine dinner on March 17 is $50 a person and features Napa Valley’s Hall Wines (included in price). Start off with a Prosecco Aperitif, followed by a first plate of albacore tuna baked with gin and juniper berries, blood orange sauce, kalamata olives served with Sauvignon Blanc. The second plate is squid ink ravioli filled with smoked salmon and shrimp, saffron moscato sauce, with a Merlot. The main dish is Brasato al Barolo ~ beef braised in barolo wine, fava bean puree with radicchio and accompanied by a Cabernet Sauvignon. Dessert is a pear cake with chocolate sauce and joined with Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc. Il Tiramisù Ristorante 13705 Ventura Blvd. (at Woodman), Sherman Oaks, (818) 986-2640.
