LA Creamery will start scooping at its third location in the Westfield Sherman Oaks Fashion Square on May 18 (on the second level next to William-Sonoma).  This follows the second location at the The Americana in Glendale and the original at Westfield Topanga.

Check out the coffee  kiosk in front of the cafe at  Kings Road Cafe on Ventura Blvd (at Rhodes) in Studio City. Get a cup of coffee for $1 and a latte for $2 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the month of May.

Two of Studio City’s best restaurants are now open for lunch. Check out the websites for  Raphael and Georgio’s Cucina to find out about their complete menus.

Hugo’s in Studio City and West Hollywood has added Create-A-Bowl to the menu.   Selections are all vegan and gluten free. Three items start at $12.65. Also at Hugo’s — Frozato — it’s their own recipe — a non-dairy frozen, soft-serve-like dessert in Caramel or Scharffen Berger Chocolate flavors. Served in single flavors, swirl, cup or waffle cone ($2.28).

This week in the Conejo Valley (including Calabasas) more than 40 top restaurants are offering 3-course prix-fixe menus for just $20 and $30 for the first ever Conejo Valley Restaurant Week. Check  out the list of restaurants and menus at ConejoValleyRestaurantWeek.com — some of the best restaurants in the area are participating, including: Cafe 14, Bellavino Wine. Bar, Bellini Osteria, Onyx at the Four Seasons, Marmalade, Tuscany, Rustico, and The Melting Pot. For a complete list, take a look at their interactive website. The sponsors of the event — ConejoDeals.com and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce—suggest  you make your reservations ASAP!

Daily Grill restaurants just added a  specialty Fire Roasted Green Chili Burger to the menu which takes the place of the Wild Mushroom Burger. Daily Grill grinds 100% Certified Angus Beef® Chuck twice through the grinder, twice a day, every day. Topped with Jack Cheese, Chili Verde and Roasted Jalapeno Aioli, this Southwestern-inspired burger comes with a choice of fresh fruit, crispy shoestring fries or the new roasted peanut coleslaw and will be available during lunch for $12.95.

Kung Pao Bistro has moved a few blocks east on Ventura Boulevard to 11402 Ventura Boulevard (at Tujunga), where it recently replaced Fat Jack’s. Take A Bao is currently in the construction phase at its old location (as reported here in My Daily Find).

Chipotle Mexican Grill opens its second Burbank area restaurant in Toluca Lake last week and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is located on the corner of Riverside Drive and N. Pass Avenue.

    Hi Karen -
Thanks for the mention! Quick correction: although Hugo’s is serving a vegan Avocado Ice creme this month on special, Frozato is only available at Hugo’s Tacos (at both Studio City and Atwater locations, vanilla and chocolate flavors.)
