Prizzi’s full move from Hollywood to Burbank is finally here. The Italian restaurant with its famous pizza will officially open at 6 a.m. on Monday, August 15. Check out their Facebook page for opening specials (and perhaps a sneak peak the weekend before). Prizzi’s is located at the corner of Kenwood and Riverside in Burbank, between Pass Ave. and Hollywood Way. They are open daily from 6 a.m. with brunch Saturday and Sunday! They offer validated parking on Kenwood directly behind the new location.

For this week only — Tarzana’s Diane Sproveri Bake Shop will offer certificates for their famous LOLLIBAKES— the original cake pops for only $15 a dozen (a $30 value) . Up to ten certificates may be purchased for this special in store offer which is valid September 1, 2011 – November 15, 2011.Only two certificates may be redeemed per week. This offer is for the assorted sampler box only.

Kids ages 5 -12 can learn to cook Italian cuisine at a complimentary one hour class on Saturday, August 13 from noon to 1 p.m. at Whole Foods in Woodland Hills. Chef Eric Horwitz will teach the kids how to prepare tomato basil bruschetta and spaghetti with pesto. He’ll also share a little information about the culture behind the cuisine. The class will be conducted at the patio at Whole Foods Market in Woodland Hills (21347 Ventura Blvd. – corner of Canoga and Ventura).

The Federal Bar in Noho just unleashed its newest menu featuring the Fed Dog, with seven types of hots dogs and brats (veggie option too), available daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. The Fed Dogs menu is the creation of Chef Louis Fuentes who introduces such special dogs as the LA Dog made with Kosher beef, wrapped in bacon with a choice of three toppings; the Vegan Dog consisting of Tofurky, radish, beaver mustard, veganaise and microgreens; and the You’re Such A Brat, a beer braised bratwurst with deep fried onions, smoked sauerkraut and spicy mustard.
