The Advent Theatre celebrates its 30th Anniversary Season: The West Coast Premiere of Laurence Carr’s “Vaudeville: A Play-with-Music” that takes us back to the heyday of America’s theatrical variety entertainment era — just before it would be replaced by the “talking pictures.” Opening Night, Sept. 23, curtain at 8pm. The Dubnoff Outdoor Festival: The festival is a fundraiser for this non-profit organization. There will be fun activities for all ages, kids area, live entertainment and retail vendors, plus a variety of gourmet food and food trucks. Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dubnoff Child Development Center, 10526 Dubnoff Way, North Hollywood.  Free admission for all ages, vendors and food extra.
