Book Signing with Gwen Kenneally: My Daily Find’s own food writer Gwen Kenneally, and the pie queen herself, will be signing copies of her newly released “Sweet and Savory” cookbook this Saturday, February 11 from noon-7 p.m. at Love Champs Gallery in Studio City’s Times Square Center, 12215 Ventura Blvd. The book contains a tantalizing collection of over 80 recipes from the Hollywood caterer, including pumpkin risotto, peach pecan chicken, sweet potato salad and cucumber and watermelon mojitos. Come meet Gwen!! It’s a great Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone who loves to cook.

Concert for a Cure:  It’s a concert for all ages by all ages on Saturday, February 11, 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood. All proceeds will be divided equally and donated to Children’s Cancer Research and Women’s Breast Cancer Research.  When purchasing a ticket, please supply any names for the “In Honor Of” and “In Memory Of” lists that will be displayed that day.  Bring extra money for raffles, silent auctions and items for sale. Adults, $20, Students, $10. TEEN NIGHT 2012 at The Geffen Contemporary: Teens take over the museum on Saturday, February 11, 6:30–10p.m. for an evening extravaganza of art, music, and more.
