Raphael in Studio City is starting its Regional Wine Series dinners on May 9.   This first dinner features wines from Italy paired with Chef Adam Horton’s creative  global creations.  Feast on an antipasti with sopressata, fennel, buffalo mozzarella and toasted bread, followed by octopus with tomato frisee, peppers and potato.  The first course is wild mushroom agnolotti with white truffle butter, herbs and parmesean cheese. The main course is quail prepared with a sausage stuffing, eggplant and white beans.  To top off this lavish meal there’s a decadent dessert with the flavors of Nutella.  $75 person, not including tax or gratuity.  The two remaining dinners in the series are  June 13, which highlights Spanish wines, and July 11, featuring French wines.  Call for reservations (818) 505-3337.
