Dine Out Fridays: This Friday, May 11th, teen performer REMJ will pay tribute to Michael Jackson with his dance performance from 6-7 p.m. Singer/songwriter Liz Nash will also perform. The Pomeranian Rescue a, local dog rescue, who will have dogs ready for adoption. The NoHo Dine Out Fridays is held every Friday, from 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the parking lot at 11452 Burbank Blvd., in North Hollywood. Each Dine Out features gourmet food trucks, art & craft vendors, and showcases local talent in the area. A donation is made to local dog rescue groups from the proceeds.

National Train Day Los Angeles:   The 5th Annual National Train Day is happening this Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Union Station  will have live entertainment from Ringling Bros, The All American Boys Chorus and Dora the Explorer. Private rail-cars will be available for viewing on a first come first serve basis. K-9 Patrol and Amtrak Cooking demonstrations will take place throughout the day. Model trains will be on display courtesy of the Orange County “N” Gineers. Fire Service Open House Day: On Saturday, May 12, a Fire Service Day Open House (from 10am to 4pm) will be conducted at all Los Angeles County fire stations.
