Lululemon Studio City: This yoga-inspired clothing store and lifestyle brand finally opens the doors of its retail shop at 10 a.m. today in Studio City today, replacing the former Drapers and Damon. It’s virtually unrecognizable with its modern wood and colorful tiled exterior. Make sure to check out their complimentary classes too. 12199 Ventura Blvd.,Studio City.
NoHo Dine Out Friday: The Triplets known as TH3 TRiPS will perform from 6-6:30pm at The NoHo Dine Out. TH3 TRiPS are 11 year old triplets who have a passion for rock n roll. Born and raised in Santa Monica, they grew up surrounded by music. TH3 TRiPS write and perform original songs about what inspires them, including their newest single “Africa.” Also entertaining this Friday is 2 Bit Radio. 2 Bit Radio is an electrifying Band who creates fresh, different music with a touch of that good ‘ole retro feel. La Dolce Vita Gourmet Food Truck will also participate and all 100% of the proceeds from sales of all food and drink go to a 501 C 3 nonprofit charitable organization for rescue animals that they also operate. The NoHo Dine Out Fridays is held every Friday, from 5:30 p.m.–9 p.m. in the parking lot at 11452 Burbank Blvd., North Hollywood.

Colfax World Fair: This annual fun times family fair fundraiser at Colfax Charter Elementary in North Hollywood on June 2 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. features dozens of family-friendly games and attractions, two food courts, music and dance performances, giant puppet parades, raffles, silent auction with over 500 items (see below for info), toddler town – an exclusive area for babies and children under six hosted by My Gym, Morella Water Park – an entire adjacent street closed off for soaking fun in the sun! Admission and parking are free. Cost for rides and games are minimal. All proceeds pay for student enrichment as well as traditional programs that have been slashed by LAUSD budget cuts. Check out the silent auction items which you can access at the event or begin bidding online.

4GOOD Book Drive: This community group is partnering with Carney’s and BookEnds for the Third Annual Book Drive on Sunday, June 3 from 11am-2pm. Donate your gently used books and help restock the libraries of local elementary schools in need. They are especially looking for elementary aged books about animals, nature and space ~ but you can donate any kids or adult books! Carney’s will donate 15% of its sales to 4GOOD, so clean out your bookshelf and enjoy a delicious lunch for the whole family.

Hester Street Market: This favorite New York outdoor market is coming to Hollywood this summer for a series of four fun free events at Hollywood and Argyle, one block east of Vine. The Hester Street Fair will kick of this Saturday, June 2 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. with a Bite Size Food and Craft Festival featuring a collection of some of LA’s favorite restaurants, indie food chefs and a selected group of food trucks who will bring their best menus in bite size portions.
