At last…The Village opened in Studio City last week and marked the occasion with  a celebratory party.  Frank Leon, the Studio City restaurateur behind La Loggia and Next Door, replaced his former restaurant, Bokado, with this gastropub with a twist. There is also a good selection of vegan choices.  The bar menu pays homage to classic authors and are  prepared with small batch and artisanal spirits, and premium ingredients, such as all-natural herbs, fruit and produce sourced locally at the Studio City Farmers’ Market.  There’s also an extensive wine and beer list. The decor includes a study with shelves full of vintage books and unique trinkets, as well as Moroccan themed seating area that can be closed off for private parties and events.
