Fashion & Beauty: The Scarf—The Ultimate Fashion Accessory

Scarves are the perfect accessory for every season.

A scarf is one of my new favorite fashion finds of the season. It  is a versatile fashion accessory that offers many ways to change your look. From casual boho chic to  sleek and sophisticated, the possibilities are truly limitless, adding a new dimension to your entire look. It gives that extra “umph” that a piece of jewelry carries, but with more color, texture, and enhanced coziness, of course.

Change the look of an outfit with a simple scarf.

I love the different yarn, weaves, patterns, prints and color that make up the true craftsmanship of a good scarf. Beautiful fabric and soft comfortable textures can make it hard to resist wrapping yourself up in a big scarf. I have many favorite scarves, but my go-to scarf for this season is made by Epice, which means “spice” in French.

Some of my other fave scarves are made by OttotrediciChristophe SauvatLemLem, and The Gap! Prices, depending on brand and fabric range $10 to $350.

Scarves are not only attractive and spice up an outfit, they are an easy transitional piece that can be thrown over your shoulders as the weather moves from summer to fall — or from daytime to evening.  Scarves can also be stuffed into a bag or tied on a purse/handbag to add a pop of color to your outfit.

Find scarves at stores locally, including:  Jill Roberts, The GapLucky, Urban Outfitters, Free PeopleTarget.
