Finally! Joan’s on Third is coming to Studio City in April! The location is on Ventura Place where the old post office was located. Ventura Place is the home of the Studio City Sunday Farmer’s Market between Laurel Canyon and Radford Avenue anchored by Big 5.
Studio City’s Cafe Aldente is undergoing some changes after the untimely passing of owner Jim Sahin this past June. As of last weekend, a longtime customer took over the 25 year old restaurant. It will remain closed while undergoing renovations. Stayed tuned here for more details in the coming weeks.
Loteria Grill’s new La Flaca menu is a must try. It’s a “lighter” menu with low carb options (tacos with various meats and/or veggies in lettuce cups), salads, specialty plates, ceviche and some breakfast items served all day. Check out the menu here.

Chef Lee helped to lead the kitchen at Hatfield’s Restaurant in Los Angeles and Park Grill in Chicago and has worked alongside many prestigious chefs. While the new menu is being designed, D’Cache has updated its current menu with new specials while keeping patron favorites.
