Celebrate three years with Tony’s Darts Away; Get a taste of art in Burbank.

Noho Dine Out FridaysGet out into the community for a weekly food truck fest, boutique vendors and street performers. Dogs welcome too! Every Friday,  5 p.m. -8 p.m., The Parking Lot at 11458 Burbank Blvd, North Hollywood. Admission free; food and vendors cost.

Nesmon Cafe will be open this Saturday, April 13,  from 7 p.m.- 11 p.m. for a special evening of live jazz music with singer, Fumani. This Parisian style sidewalk cafe will be serving their regular menu, in addition to special dishes and their new vegan menu. Come for dinner or stop by for an after dinner coffee or tea and dessert. MDF fave, Tony’s Darts Away in Burbank is celebrating its third anniversary on April 13 and 14.   Tony Yanow has brewed up a special IPA for the occasion at his Golden Road Brewing Company. There will also be special brews from  Eagle Rock BreweryThe Bruery and Bagheera IPA from Strand Brewing Co.  Chef Randy will be serving up his special vegan and non-vegan dishes. This seems to be LA Creamery week on MDF.  In Tasty Tidbits, I reported that this artisan ice cream (and one of my very personal faves) will be available in select markets, including Gelson’s on May 1.  Well, you can get it in the 818 even sooner.  Starting tomorrow, Sweet Butter Kitchen in Sherman Oaks will carry pints for $7.50.  Flavors include Brown Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Honeycomb, Salted Caramel, Milk Chocolate Crunch, Toasted Coconut and Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival: The four-block show features more than 100 outstanding artists, as well as the next generation of talent from Burbank schools. Included will be paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, mixed-media and photography. Live entertainment, street painting, art demonstrations and free workshops will add to the fun Admission is free; food and other purchases cost extra.    In a twist that pays homage to Burbank’s reputation as Animation Capital of the World, Downtown Burbank Partnership is uniting with Creative Talent Network (CTN) to present an entire block devoted to animation and visual EFX artists from feature films, video games and television series, along with associated schools and studios. Visit more than 40 exhibiting artists whose contributions can be seen in some of the highest grossing films in the history of animation. Located on San Fernando Boulevard between Olive and Angeleno, these artists will be demonstrating their talent, selling books and prints, giving portfolio reviews and critiques, and hosting a raffle. Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia Boulevard and Olive Avenue in Burbank.

The 2nd Annual Harry Potter Roller Skating Night: Moonlight Rollerway Skating Rink in Glendale  will become a haven for wizards, witches, squibs and muggles of all ages o Sat, April 13 from 8 p.m.  to 11 p.m. Enjoy a night full of Harry Potter music, wizard rock, costume contest, merchandise, games, raffle prizes — and a cup of Butterbeer!  Spectator (no skating, just watching) – $6. Entrance without skate rental (you have your own skates) – $11. Entrance with skate rental (rental skates from rink) – $14.50.  5110 San Fernando Rd., Glendale.

LA Heritage Day:  Visit with  over 70 heritage organizations from across LA, enjoy activities and entertainment for all ages, tours, historical vehicles and more at Pico House at El Pueblo Historical Monument, the birthplace of Los Angeles and the world famous Olvera Street.  Presented by LA Heritage Alliance and El Pueblo Historical Monument, in association with El Pueblo Park Association. April 14, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.  FREE
