Burbank, CA. – “TRANSFORMATION” is the Collage Artists of America (CAA), Spring 2012 exhibit.  The exhibition will be held Friday, June 8 – Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Burbank Creative Arts Center, located at 1100 West Clark Avenue, Burbank, California, 91506.  Phone: (818) 385-0080, cac@ci.burbank.ca.us

This exhibit will feature artists who are engaged with fresh and intelligent thought-provoking ideas that embody the theme of “Transformation.” The artists’ approach to collage should prove to be a compelling display of collage and assemblage in both 2-D and 3-D works of art, and will include a broad range of approaches, techniques and content.  

The Artists’ Reception and Awards take place: Friday, June 8, 2012, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Burbank Art Center Gallery Hours:  Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m.– 8:00 p.m.,
Friday,  9:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m., Saturday (call for hours),  Sunday Closed.  There is no admission fee.

The juror for this show is award winning artist, Jackie Nach, from Johannesburg, South Africa, who now works from her studio in Santa Monica, CA.
