If Santa missed your house this year maybe he stopped by Badger Den in North Pole Alaska for their signature North Pole Cocktail! The drink gets its flavor from gin and Maraschino Liqueur. The liqueur’s distinctive flavor comes from the Marasca cherries, and the crushed cherry pits lend an almond-like flavor to Maraschino. Honey is also part of the ancient recipe and is available online at http://www.wallywine.com/p-11297-luxardo-maraschino-liqueur-750ml.aspx?affiliateid=10098. Then comes the frothiness from the egg whites! Hopefully Santa got the non-alcoholic version by omitting the gin and using grenadine instead of the Maraschino Liqueur. Double up on the lemon juice. Either way, enjoy the festivities of a long holiday weekend.
