The patio has been newly renovated.
Lucy’s 51, known for its chic interior, sophisticated comfort food, and eclectic crowd, has taken its style to the next level with a recent design renovation and revised menu by new chef Abel Duran.
The interior is filled with unique pieces such as a harpsichord-turned-table, rare icon photos, and modern vintage chandelier lighting. Adding to its flair is an extensive wine list with 38 new wines and a signature cocktail – the “Freakin ‘Rican”- a minty mojito style martini.
Lunch is served from 11:30am to 4pm with salad, sandwich and plated entrees ranging from $7.95-$13.95. Choices include “Tomato in the Round,” a ripe tomato stuffed with fresh albacore salad ($10.95); a Skirt Steak Salad with frisée, watercress, endive, potatoes, mushrooms, onions, string beans, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers with cilantro vinaigrette ($9.95); Garden Vegetable Sandwich with spinach, onions, tomato, avocado, feta cheese & pesto aioli on ciabatta ($8.95); Soy Ginger marinated skirt steak served with fingerling potatoes ($13.95), and a Penne Chicken Pasta with tomato pesto cream sauce ($9.95) — and much more.
Skirt Steak salad is one of the many options for lunch, with entrees that range form $7.95 to $13.95.
Finger food has received a make-over with appetizers such as “The Trio,” battered and fried Kalamata olives, mini pearl onions, and pear tomatoes, with a garlic aioli dipping sauce. Dinner menu additions include Penne Shrimp Scampi, Filet Mignon Chateaubrian with Béarnaise Sauce, and Chicken Cassolette.
Owner/designer Richard Disisto has given the eatery a sleek design overhaul that includes a new front patio with hanging vines perfect for the summer months. A new den-like lounge/smoking patio has been added to the back of the restaurant to accommodate the growing crowd. Cloistered in the cozy seating area are vintage couches, and long stemmed modern stools with leopard motif inhabited by a veritable mix of celebrities, locals, and young professionals.
