In a town full of hairstylists whose dramatic personalities often over-shadow their own work, Dani Hernandez of the Byron and Tracey Salon in Beverly Hills, has mastered his craft as a premiere hair colorist and a trained Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment expert. He is one of those exceptions that makes going “over the hill” from the valley worth the trip.

Dani’s cutting edge difference is simple: it’s in his work. Dani does not cut hair. Rather, he is a true color specialist – an artist who takes each strand of hair very seriously.
A stickler for detail, his acumen and hair flair relies on the fine balance of making hair look naturally sun-kissed. As a client and fan of Dani’s unique color work, I recently decided to try the new Brazilian Keratin Hair Treatment. Very few salons offer the treatment because special training is necessary. Dani was trained under celebrity hairdresser Corey Powell of the Parlour, but the Byron and Tracey Salon is renown for their celebrity work, including Lindsay Lohan and Julia Roberts. The Brazilian Keratin treatment is a revolutionary new treatment made of keratin (a natural substance that is formaldehyde-free). The entire process takes only two hours and lasts up to four months. The treatment can be used on any type of hair, whether dyed or highlighted. The results? Soft, shiny, and frizz-free hair.
I could not be happier with my silky, smooth, healthy looking and feeling, easy-to-style hair. I can’t believe that leaving the house with my hair still wet actually works so perfectly.
