THE HANUKAH COUNTDOWN Eight great reasons to adopt a pet instead of buying an animal from a breeder or pet store:
Reason 8: You have more of a variety to choose from
Reason 7: Sometimes not knowing who the parents are can be a good thing
Reason 6: You know what you are getting
Reason 5: The animal will be more eager to please
Reason 4: Howard Stern supports it
Reason 3: Oprah did it
Reason 2: You will have more money to buy other holiday gifts
And the number 1 reason to adopt a pet: You will be saving a life

Charlie
Impound # 1080463 Rabbit, 6 months, 2 lbs I’m Charlie and came to the shelter as a stray with my litter mate. We are both very handsome and have fun playing together. The staff says we are lap rabbits and that our fur is like velvet. I love love love to be held and am a very affectionate boy. Won’t you adopt me? And my litter mate too? We don’t take up much space but will give you a room full of love in return for saving us!

Georgio
Impound # 1080444 Persian Cat, 2 years, 9 lbs I’m Georgio, and as you can probably tell I was found on the street. Once I get a good grooming I will look like a prince! The shelter staff says I’m all love and even though I don’t look my best they say I’m quite handsome. I will sit in your lap for hours, give you unconditional love, and be a great companion for your other animals. I’m the perfect pet. Pick me!

Gaston
Impound # 1069392 Chow Chow, 5 years, 51 lbs I’m Gaston and was dumped at the shelter with my brother Chip. We are both very friendly dogs and know how to lay on the charm! We are good looking if I say so myself. We love other dogs and everyone we meet. Please save me from this place…and my brother too. We would love to go together but would be fine on our own. We aren’t ready for our life to end. Please save us.

The Player
Impound # 1060397, American Eskimo, 4 years, 16 lbs My name is The Player because I love to play! I was dumped by my guardians because I play too rough. If they would have taught me the difference…I’m an Eskie so naturally I’m a quick learner and smart as a whip. I love other dogs, love people and just want to please. Oh, and can’t forget to mention how HANDSOME I am! I would be best with no small kids though because I’m a little feisty. Please adopt me. Eskies are the best and most loyal companions.

Raju
Impound # 1075312 Rabbit, 2 years, 3 lbs I’m Raju and was dumped by my guardians because they didn’t have time for me anymore. I’m very handsome, have beautiful big blue eyes and love to eat even while posing for the camera! My favorite thing is being held and making people laugh. I’ve been at the shelter too long and really need a home. Please take me home!

Jackie
Impound # 1079012 Lab/Shepherd Mix, 2 years, 66 lbs I’m Jackie. I may have a girlie name but I’m all man. I was brought to the shelter as a stray and my guardians never came to get me. I’m a shelter staff favorite and the volunteers adore me. I love people, other dogs and am told I’m as smart as Einstein. Please adopt me. I have a lot of love to give.

Hann and Mr. B
Impound # 1079064 Domestic Short Hair Cat, 3 years, 10 lbs I’m Hann and was dumped at the shelter with my brother Mister B because our guardian suddenly became allergic to us. We should have been allergic to him because he declawed us and caused us a lot of pain. Because of this we’re a little shy at first, but once we know you we’re yours for life! The staff says we are the most handsome duo! Please consider adopting us together. We’ll make the greatest companions. Impound # 1079063 Domestic Short Hair Cat, 3 years, 13 lbs I’m Mister B and was dumped with my best friend Hann. We are twins and a great pair! Unfortunately we have both suffered so much. Not only did we get declawed, which was incredible painful, but we got kicked to the curb. All we want is love. Please come adopt us. We want a home to call our own.
