STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER: Have a berry nice weekend at the 27th Annual California Strawberry Festival at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard. It’s two days of  fun for the entire family with concert performances (including Beatles, Journey and Springsteen tribute bands), a jam packed Strawberry Promenade with celebrity cooking demonstrations (strawberry nachos, strawberry pizza, strawberry funnel cake, strawberry kabobs anyone?), more than 250 Fine Arts & Crafts booths, Strawberryland For Kids with rides and attractions, fun contests, special appearances, and more. And from the 818, one of our fave My Daily Find subjects, The Scentual Mixtress, Jennifer Hardaway of Klean Body Bath, who will be demonstrating beauty treatments with, you guessed it, strawberries! PEACE OUT: Come down to Worldfest at Woodley Park in Van Nuys this Sunday from 10:30 am to 7 pm. It is a solar-powered celebration of music, the environment, animals and humanity. Learn what you can do for the Earth and everyone living around you. There will be a combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kids’ activities and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience. IN YOGA: The East Valley’s newest and most groovy yoga studio, InYoga , the brainchild of Studio City resident, Julie Buckner, is offering free two hour workshops on four consecutive Saturdays to introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga. Learn about the philosophy of yoga, the basic poses, how to breathe and relaxation techniques.
