The Weekend Cocktail: Summer Fruit and Ginger Cocktail

I just returned home from an awesome Northern California getaway to visit with friends and family and celebrate my mother’s birthday! As I was crossing the Bay Bridge from Oakland to San Francisco I saw a massive billboard for ginger infused vodka. I was beside myself thinking about that party in my mouth.

My dear friend, known fondly in my LA circle as San Francisco Lisa, her husband Dave, and some friends shared an adult beverage or two and talked about the possibilities of ginger infused vodka. It seemed only fitting that we turn to Adam Wilson the famed mixologist of Beretta San Francisco for a libation with the tartness of citrus and cranberries expertly tempered with the sweetness of fresh pineapple and here comes the party…the heat of the ginger! Substitute the vodka and Club soda with ginger ale for a festive nonalcoholic version.

Enjoy this with your friends and family and know that I will be playing with more fun, fresh recipes using ginger infused vodka! Available online at www.internetwines.com/rws41536.html
