Bang the drum: It’s a free drum circle for kids ages 2-12, but all ages are welcome. Journey and explore music making through rhythm, song, and fun activities on August 21, 9:30am to 10:05am and 11am to 11:45 am. Drums provided by REMO. Shane’s Inspiration 13th Annual Walk & Roll: Join Grand Marshalls Steve Valentine, Stephen Full, Greg Baker and Logan Miller from Disney’s “I’m in the Band’ this Sunday morning, August 22, in Griffith Park. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE. Get a few sponsors and/or  bring donations to the check-in tables the morning of the Walk. There will be a special 5K route that goes through the Old Zoo area. Refreshments, t-shirts, prizes, and goodie bags for the kids, along with a resource fair and music.  The mission of Shane’s Inspiration is to create Universally Accessible Playgrounds and programs that integrate children of all abilities socially, physically and emotionally, fostering acceptance, friendship and understanding.
