The Weekend Cocktail: The Time Warp Candy Corn Martini

I must admit that my teen and I are bonding over Glee! We have our Tuesday night date and I look forward to it every week. In preparation for this past week’s episode I got The Rocky Horror Picture Show! and was informed by my daughter that all of her friends were going to midnight showings! Still after all these years! I used to go when I was a teen! She was very surprised when I jumped up and did the Time Warp…again! Have a fun, safe and wonderful Halloween. Cheers!

Time-Warp Candy Corn Martini

For the infused vodka:

1 cup candy corn

3 cups vodka

For the cocktails:

4 ounces orange liqueur

Juice of 1 lemon

1 large egg white

Candy corn, for garnish

Directions

Infuse the vodka: Combine the candy corn and vodka in an airtight container; set aside for at least 3 hours, then strain.

Make the cordials: Add 4 ounces of the candy corn vodka, the orange liqueur, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Strain into two-chilled martini glasses and garnish with candy corn.
