TONIGHT! Shakespeare High Fundraiser (FRIDAY): On the heels of a successful premiere at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival, SHAKESPEARE HIGH tells the story of the 90th Drama Teachers Association of Southern California Annual High School Shakespeare Festival.

It is a testament to the power of arts education and includes interviews with DTASC alumni Richard Dreyfuss, Val Kilmer, Mare Winningham and executive producer Kevin Spacey. CHAMPS teacher Brad Koepenick serves as a producer and CHAMPS students served as shooters, sound people, production and talent assistants on the production. Proceeds benefit CHAMPS. Food Truck Fest: The Federal Bar is at it again on Saturday with nine food trucks: Mandoline Grill, Antonio’s Nuts, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Clean Street, Smokin’ Willies, Lake St. Creamery, Naan Stop, Grill em All. Stars of Beatlemania in Concert: Get on board the “Magical Mystery Tour” and experience the 1960s one more time with the performers who starred on Broadway in Beatlemania at the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center. Supernatural Kids Cookbook Signing: Author, healer, teacher and epicurean Nancy Mehagian will be signing copies of her newly released The Supernatural Kids Cookbook (Huqua Press) this Sunday at the Studio City Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come meet Nancy, who will introduce your children to the joys of healthy eating and cooking with her artfully illustrated collection of 70 recipes for the whole family.
