Tonight (Friday)—Lingerie Basketball: Montclair Prep  in Van Nuys may be shutting down their middle school, axing financial aid and dropping their well-known athletic program, but tonight their hardwood basketball court is going to be in use for the inaugural season of Lingerie Basketball with an official tip off doubleheader starting at 7 p.m.  Doors open at 6 p.m. 18 and older only. Single tickets are available for $20 for each game of the doubleheader, or buy a 2-game ticket and save $10. For those who want to get up close and personal, a limited number of floor seat, 2-game tickets are available for $40. Autographs will be signed after the game.  Competing teams are the L.A. National Cheesecake Day: The Cheesecake Factory is celebrating this Saturday, July 30 with half price any slice of cheesecake. Making it’s debut on this occasion is  the Hershey’s Chocolate Bar Cheesecake.

Movies on the Green at Warner Center: Have a picnic and watch “How to Train Your Dragon” under the stars this Saturday at 7 p.m. Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Woodland Hills.

Summer Beach Bus from the West Valley: Catch it Monday to Saturday through September 5. Picks up at Owensmouth Ave. and Oxnard St., and at Ventura Blvd. and Topanga Cyn. One-way tickets are only .50! Summer Beach Bus from Agoura Hills to Zuma Beach: This bus runs through August 19 and picks up in various locations in Agoura only. Bring a photo ID (Driver’s License or School ID.)  Exact change of $2 each way.

Concerts on the Green: It’s Matt Ryan and the American Dream aka Bruce in the USA. They’re the ultimate Springsteen tribute cover band.  Sunday, 6 p.m. Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd, Woodland Hills. Bring a picnic, chairs and a blanket.

Mind-Boggling Fun and Magic at Flappers: The hilarious Raul Fernandez returns with Jessie Altamirano, Les Cooper, Rhoel Garcia and David Martinez for an evening magic show in Flappers Main Room. OVER THE HILL AND WORTH THE DRIVE: It’s a Block Party on the Paramount backlot this Saturday. Listen to bands, sample unlimited 4 ounce pours and eat from food trucks (extra).
