Weight Watchers® Opens in Studio City: Weight Watchers will open its newly designed store in Studio City on Friday, January 20 at 9 a.m. The store, located at 11239 Ventura Boulevard in the Marshalls shopping center, will be open during regular retail hours seven days a week, so people can stop in anytime to learn more about Weight Watchers, ask questions, purchase memberships, or simply shop for Weight Watchers products. Members can also weigh in at their convenience in a way that is more discrete than ever before. Nata’s , located on the Studio City/Sherman Oaks border, is having a wine tasting event on Friday, January 20 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. for $22 per person. Included in the price are two Portuguese reds, one Spanish red, one Portuguese white and one portuguese Rosé — all 2008. Food served will be a variety of imported Portuguese and other premium cheeses, a variety of Portuguese grilled sausages, our cafe arinated olives, house artisan bread and dried fruits and nuts. CSUN Art Galleries — 15th Annual High School Art Invitational: This invitational showcases art work made by students from over forty San Fernando Valley high schools, including our NCJHS students, Benny Ferdman, Artistic Director, and Justine Bruner, AP Studio Art teacher.
