Big Bunny’s Spring Fling: This annual event features a slew of fun activities—pet a fuzzy bunny, plant your own carrot, have your face painted, make a be-a-bunny craft, have your photo taken with Big Bunny (for a nominal fee), and enjoy children’s musical entertainment. This event is free to GLAZA members and with paid Zoo admission. Come join the egg-citement! When/Where: April 6 -8,  10 a.m. – 4 p.m., LA Zoo, 5333 Zoo Drive, Griffith Park.

Egg Hunts and Scrambles:  It’s an EGG-ceptional Celebration for kids of all ages at the Arboretum/ Egg Scramble and Egg-Expedition. Make and take activities, refreshments and prizes. $3 suggested donation.  Regular Arboretum admission fees apply.  When/Where: Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia.

Los Encinos Easter Egg Hunt: Egg Hunts for ages from toddlers to 10,plus traditional games, a blacksmith, and old-time music, tours of the historic adobe and performers in period costume. The Egg Hunts will be grouped as follows: 1:30 p.m.: 2 and under in the Corral, 2p.m.: 3-4 years old 2:30 p.m., 5 years and up in the Orange Grove. Please bring your own baskets. When/Where: Los Encinos State Historic Park, 16756 Moorpark in Encino,on Saturday, April 7, 2012, starting at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free. Donations of any amount are welcome to KEEP LOS ENCINOS OPEN.

Descanso Gardens Egg Hunt and Brunch 

Celebrate spring with a delicious brunch in the Rose Pavilion prepared by the Patina chefs. Each child will get a basket of cookies to decorate during brunch, followed by an egg hunt. When/Where: Brunch times are 10 am and noon on Saturday, and 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.   Descanso Gardens, 1418 Descanso Drive, La Canada Flintridge. $44 for members, $52 adults, $19 children 4 – 12, 3 and younger, free.

Underwood Family Farms Celebrate Easter on a farm. There will be an egg hunt, colorful egg dying, tractor-drawn wagon rides, and visits with the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera). In addition to the Easter events are the everyday features of the farm: see Penolope the pig, visit the highland cattle, or take a pony ride. Underwood provides free wagons to tote your little ones through the fields of pick-your-own produce. The rows of ruby-red strawberries are a particular sweet-treat right now. Sat – Sun. Apr 7 – 8, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, $6, children under 2 are free. When/Where: Apr 7–8, 2012, 9 am – 6 , Underwood Family Farms ,3 370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark.  Cost: $6

Easter at the Pierce FarmSpend Easter Weekend at the Pierce College with an array of activities perfect for the entire family. Activities include scavenger hunts, Easter crafts, egg painting, animal farm and pony rides. When/Where: Sat – Sun, April 7-8, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. $4.  20800 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills.
