Vintage Clothing & Textile Show:  Now in its 29th year, the Vintage Clothing & Textile Show features 65 exhibitors showcasing textiles, clothing, linens, accessories, handbags, shoes and more. $7 general; $20 early admission at 8 am. Sun., December 30, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – The Pickwick Gardens, 1001 Riverside Drive, Burbank.

Christmas My Way: A Sinatra Holiday Bash! at the El Portal:  Broadway performers Jason Graae, Heather Lee and Beth Malone along with Sinatra-like crooner Luca Ellis to serve up cool versions of Sinatra mainstays. Joined by a swingin’ live band, they sing Sinatra Christmas hits like “Mistletoe and Holly,” “The Christmas Song,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Silver Bells” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” So, get set for a fresh, energetic groovy Sinatra Christmas, with 40 classic hits perfect for the holidays.  Runs though New Years Eve (with a special celebration).

Equefest: Burbank is the place for Equestfest on Wednesday, December 29 from 11am to 3 pm at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center  Meet many of the Equestrians you will see New Year’s Day in the 2011 Rose Parade at this  equestrian event. Horses and riders perform drills and dances, and demonstrate trick riding and roping.  Think “wild west” in the 21st century. Stroll through the stables and talk to the riders. Learn about the various tack and the many different breeds. Take advantage of wonderful one-of-a-kind photo opportunities. Float Decoration Viewing: Experience the magic of the floats before they make their debut in the 2013Rose Parade on December 28-31 in Pasadena. Get a backstage glimpse of the floral floats in their final stages of preparation at three locations Watch as a   variety of fruit, seeds, bark, grasses and of course, flowers are applied to the floats.

Bandfest: This once a year musical extravaganza features the prizewinning bands of the 2013 Rose Parade performing the field shows that made them famous. Three shows on December 29 and 30 will give everyone a chance to see these talented musicians, dancers and auxiliary performers in action. Pasaadena City College.

Post Parade Showcase of Floats: Check out the floral masterpieces past parade on January 1 and 2 parked along Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevards in Pasadena, the floats are exhibited for visitors to walk by and see in close detail the design and workmanship that goes into these floats. A revised documentary on the will be shown throughout the day in the 1600 seat auditorium adjacent to the Showcase Lot. Admission to the updated film is free with admission to Post Parade.
