Soloists:  sopranos Grace Balint and Annalise McLain, altos Theresa Danne and Lindsay Patterson, tenor Kevin Story, basses Colm Estridge and Alex Britton

The San Fernando Valley Master Chorale, under the artistic direction of Terry Danne, will present a ‘Messiah’ Festival Chorus on Saturday, December 7 at 7:30PM.  The Chorale will be led by guest director Dr. Donald Caldwell, renown as a past choral director at Cal Tech for 24 years.  Approximately 80 singers from throughout the Valley area will be on stage, representing some 15 church and temple choirs, in the Christmas portion of this internationally- beloved work.

This annual event will mark the 14th year that the SFVMC has hosted the popular Messiah Festival Chorus; the event dates back to 1991.

Also appearing on the program will be the Premiere Chamber Chorale performing selections from their upcoming tour.  The Chorale, under the direction of Maestro Danne, will be appearing at the Teatro de la Cuidad, La Paz, in Baja California Sur, Mexico on December 13.  At the invitation of the government, the televised concert will be entitled ‘Joy to the World’.
