History has proven that while the holiday season, for many, is “the most wonderful time of the year,” it is our seniors who suffer from increased feelings of isolation and depression. Through music, compassion, and companionship, “Holiday Caroling” gives seniors, care-givers and volunteers a special gift of love, time, emotional and spiritual healing.

Hundreds of carolers will bring magic to this holiday season, including celebrities like: Don Peake (Musician Hall of Fame Member; Guitarist/Arranger for Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, John Lennon and The Beach Boys), Florence LaRue (six-time Grammy winner), Janies Liebhart (Singer/Songwriter; sang with Michael Bolton, Righteous Brothers and six-time Emmy winner), Erin Gray (Actress; Kate Summers in TV Series “Silver Spoons”), Rafer Johnson (Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist in Decathlon) and other notable performers.

Inspiring communities nationwide to bring joy and enlightenment to seniors and care-givers was founded by Knights of Columbus member Vincent J. Leinen; motivated, in part, by his father’s 20-year plight with Parkinson’s.

This FREE and rewarding local event will be in memory of the late Alan O’Day (pop singer/songwriter of #1 hit “Undercover Angel), who inspired fellow “Holiday Caroling” stars for over 15 years. It is open to talent of all levels, and community groups of all ages and faiths. If you are unable to attend we encourage you to visit senior care-centers, not only during the holidays but year round.
