Throughout history, Visual Journaling has been used by artists and masters as a tool for capturing ideas and inspiration. Visual Journaling is a great place to record your travels, memorable moments, to affirm your goals and dreams or just PLAY! If you keep a regular writing journal, but are looking to add dimension, Visual Journaling is the perfect addition to your journaling practice. Visual Journaling is a place where you are allowed to get messy, experiment and create without prior artistic experience. In this workshop you will learn the following basic Visual Journaling techniques:

Image transfer & collage
Creative backgrounds
Texturing
Basic layout concepts
Layering
Use of doodling & scribbling
Creative ways of lettering
Stamping and More!
Materials Included: The course fee includes 8 color paint set, mixed media journal, collage materials, gesso, matte medium and a mixed paper starter packet. Additional minimal supplies will be needed and/or suggested. No previous artistic experience required. Ages 18+
Fee: $125.00 (Deadline to register is April 15. Spaces are limited to 10. Total amount must be paid in full to reserve your spot. Cancellations must be received within 7 days prior to the workshop date and a non-refundable administrative fee of $25 will be retained. No refunds for cancellations made less then 7 days prior to workshop date).
