Riley Ceder, 17, a Toluca Lake resident and a senior theater student at Los Angeles County School for the Performing Arts, presented a check for $7000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure on October 14. Ceder raised the money by initiating, producing and starring in a production of Woody Allen's "The Floating Lightbulb" over one weekend last month at The Complex Theatre in Hollywood. He recruited fellow thespians for this student run production. Ceder said he chose Komen because there is breast cancer in his family and he wanted to do something to contribute to the cause. Pictured above with Ceder (l-r) is Maritza Collins (Project Manager for Susan G. Komen) and Deb Weintraub (Director of Missions for Susan G. Komen).
